Sauls Law Group is proud to announce that Joanna G. Boyd, Esq. has joined our team as an Associate Attorney. She will focus on family law while specializing in advocacy and customer service.  She has a proven record of providing clients with sound legal advice and support during the most difficult times of their lives.

Ms. Boyd is a native of Atlanta and graduated from Georgia State University in 2015 where she studied Legal Issues in Criminal Justice and Sociology. She then attended Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School where she became an active member of the Student Bar Association (SBA), Black Law Student Association (BLSA), Georgia Association of Women Lawyers (GAWL), Criminal Law Society and Family Law Society.

Outside of the courtroom, she is committed to creating the best possible life for her little one and often follows the same advice she gives clients.

Ms. Boyd earned her law degree from Atlanta John Marshall Law School in 2019 before passing the Georgia Bar Exam.

While in law school, Ms. Boyd worked as a full-time family law paralegal for multiple metro-Atlanta law firms – gaining nearly five years of real-world family law knowledge.  She has experience with divorce, alimony, child custody, child support, equitable division of assets, legitimations, paternity, modification, contempt and family violence cases.

She also interned for multiple government agencies, including Fulton County Pretrial Services; volunteered for multiple non-profit organizations; and is an experienced public speaker. Her mediation training, as approved by the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution, has proven beneficial in negotiations and courtroom appearances.

As a mother herself, Ms. Boyd advocates for clients seeking an outcome that is in the best interest of their child(ren). Outside of the courtroom, she is committed to creating the best possible life for her little one and often follows the same advice she gives clients. Ms. Boyd is an avid football fan, specifically her hometown Atlanta Falcons. She is also a lover of music, dance, art and all things creative.
